Cambodia has four provinces next to the sea; they are, Koh Kong, Kampong Som, Kampot, and Kep. All provinces are potential of tourism and full of natural resources, which are supporting Cambodia economic to growth better.
As Cambodia is a developing country; everything has moved steadily, with nothing to disrupt. Many foreign investors have come to invest; they are giving a lot of advantage and disadvantage in the whole region. Local people got a lot of benefits from investing especially in the real estate sector. Many villagers start to sell their land or house to get better profit. At the same time, there has been a rapid change in the region, causing changes in the landscape, the environment and the people themself.
“Land for sale” is the first experience project along the Cambodia coast, focusing on climate change, livelihoods and human relationship with nature. The project started in Kep and Kampot, later on will extent to Kampong Som and Koh Kong. This project happens to testify of the small coast of Cambodian country. To Cambodians these places are the memorabilia, memory, relaxation and breath of the sea.
