NomadiX Art Tour 2024-2025
Patch is a new series of photographs that Sophal researched in three provinces along the Mekong River in Cambodia, including Kampong Cham, Kratie and Stung Sreng. Through the NomadiX Art Tour’s research and workshops with students focusing on environmental and climate change themes.
This series of photography reflects the artist's personal observation of the surrounding environment and interaction with the local community in the area surveyed. This work is a combination of documentary photos of landscapes and portraits of people. Gradually, the two figures merged into various forms and appeared new images, this movement continues and rotates up and down.

In creating this animation, the artist wants to show the interaction between nature and people who have been in contact with daily life for a long time. This conflict brings many effects, most caused by human factors. Gradually create scars of different shapes and shapes; those scars cannot disappear forever unless the planet disappears.
